ESCAPE FROM A.R.C. WZFF Banshee Raider Boss Issue

There is an issue with this boss where they just fly away, They always stay near the Armories and when you try and get closer, they fly out of bounds. Now you can argue that a Spartan Laser can deal with this and you’d be correct except for when they get stuck behind the thruster things that are out of bounds You can’t do enough damage to hurt them when they get stuck because you hit what they are stuck behind and they get health regen. I think they just need a simple tweak to have them fly towards the middle of the map rather than out of bounds.

I’ve had this happen a number of times.

It’s well documented and reported but they’ve never addressed or acknowledged the issue.

Certainly sounds like a terrible bug to me. However… as the saying goes…
"Tank beats Ghost!.. Tank beats Hunter!.. Tank beats everything!"

Sorry, had to make that reference here. Depends on if you can even get the banshees in the tank’s reticle from any sort of distance. But it’s a good idea to go straight for them anyhow, as long as there’s a player within a certain distance, they stay somewhat close to the players, aerial vehicles would also make the task a lot easier. But for some weird reason I had an ONI-Wasp on one map, and a plasma pistol shot destroyed me in one hit, full shields.

It’s even worse if you are early match

I’ve noticed A.R.C. has more problems than any other boss spawns. Where the hunters drop down, I’ve seen them fall down under where they’re supposed to go. And they don’t die. And then when the Banshees either fly away, or fly under the map down by the shuttle. I feel like there should be some sort of kill boundaries for the AI, if there are some, I think they could be improved, expanded a bit.
