Escape from A.R.C. needs a patch

This map is horrible. Literally every of the last 15+ games I’ve had on this map have ended with one team getting all 3 bases and just dominating the whole game. Legendary bosses need to spawn in the tunnels and behind the armories too, and the spawns need fixing bad on this map. As it is now, if you get pushed into your base you are pretty much screwed.

Stormbreak does need a patch too. The 150 points in the beginning need to be tuned down to 50 points and I think the banshee legendary boss should spawn at the same place the warden does.
On ARC, when the enemy team has the garage you’re pretty much screwed because all the legendary bosses spawn near it. Also it happens too often when our core is exposed that I spawn OUTSIDE the core and immerdiately get sniped.
I think the fairest legendary boss system so far has raid on apex because tankmaster rok and captain hestro spawn at a place where both teams have a real chance to get to them and you can actually hold the enemy team off somehow while your team gets the boss.

Yea, plus on Apex you can get out of your base and take the armory on the other side if you go around the entire island.

Stormbreak I think is better, more bosses need to spawn where Warden does you are right. I think if the Banshee spawn is ok though, maybe just need to make it fly higher so the armories can see it.

If you can’t defend your armory, you’re gonna get got

On ARC I always stay behind and never rush for the garage. Either I will get guys attempting to take the Armory or I can pick off guys trying to get to the garage.

I’m 2 for 12 on that map. Everytime it comes up I accept that my team is going to get steamrolled…

Good man. Personally I attack the garage at first, but should we be unable to effectively keep them out, I fall back

ARC is my second favorite. I was frustrated with Stormbreak at first because it came up so much, but I’ve been on Apex a lot more lately, and I think I prefer Stormbreak. ARC is meh. I have never been in a position to get a takedown on Strategos yet, though, and that irks me a bit.

Use the side routes where the Soldier Enforcers and Knight Marshals spawn. Those are very useful locations for people to get to bosses when the enemy has the garage. The only hard part is going from the armory to the little doorway that you can spartan charge to open up. After that you have a ton of cover so the enemy can’t hit you as easily.

I get steam rolled that map. it also happened on the Snow one (forgot the name) and my team mate was making fun me when I was getting spawn killed. It was horrible.

You must have bad luck.

Personally if I’m playing solo I like to watch where my team goes after the first armory. Typically people will rush garage, so I run onto the rock in mid and try to put shots on enemy guys who’re rushing garage from their side. That rock is so under rated, its great cover, and a great vantage point. From there I usually go back to armory for ammo/BR and then try to help cap garage or go for an AI kill.

If you’re stuck in an Armory remember you can use the tunnel on the second floor to get out. Most people try to keep rushing mid, but if the enemy has garage and the rock controlled you’re at a huge disadvantage going that route. Use the tunnels and try to get behind/around them, or go for AI kills.

Also, I’ve noticed often teams will throw bodies at garage all day. If you see most of their guys are defending garage then cap the other armory, and when they try to get it back go for a counter cap on garage then.

My number one tip on getting garage from an enemy is…get on top of it. There are several ways to get up there, and having 2 or 3 guys shooting from the roof while guys are rushing in from the first floor is the way to go. First you have to make it out of your base; I’d suggest tunnels, there are routes to get on top of garage from each tunnel opening.

Hope this helps.

Now all we need to add to this mix is a metropolitan map. Imagine tight alleyways, vehicle haven roads/highway, and all the verticality one can imagine. :3

It’s not luck and I never said I was always losing. I win on this map too and it’s the same thing every time. All you have to do is rush their armory after you cap yours and before anyone caps the garage and you basically won the game because it’s impossible to break out of home base spawns and the boss all spawn behind the garage.

Most of my games on ARC are lopsided, and I’ve definitely seen the most core destruction victories on it. Not sure how you can really fix it though, it’s just the way the map is designed. Even with the tunnels on the side there’s more of a funneling effect when one team is holding garage and their armory. It doesn’t help that garage is the easiest middle base to defend and gives such control of the entire map. Stormbreak is linear but it’s more open so there are more options. I love Apex and think it’s just the perfect map for warzone because of the way it plays and all of the route options it gives you. The most interesting games on ARC tend to be ones where one team gets both armories and the other is holding down garage.

I agree, having the three bases so close to one another makes it an awkward balance of bosses and respawing. In the other two maps you cant spawn at one armory and run to the other before its finished being capped. It would probably be better if the armories were back in the tunnels at boss spawn.

I think if they add some teleporters, fix spawns, and move around bosses they can probably fix the map.

A.R.C and stormbreak are pretty unbalanced IMO

in a gamescom trailer they showed a city map but it was not in the full game

ARC is by far the worst. The problem is they can’t really change the legendary boss spawn locations on it because there’s not really any spot more fair at which to spawn one than where they spawn now. If you spawn in a tunnel then one team always has an advantage over the other. I also just don’t like the map in general

Stormbreak is okay about this as the legendary bosses spawn in 3 locations that are all accessible by everyone. The only problem as far as bosses are concerned is Commander Lochagos happening so quickly.

Apex is perfect. My fave of the 3 and, of course, the one I get to play on by far the least.

Ever heard of a self-fulfilling prophecy?
