When getting booted from a game in Halo 5…does anyone know what the “Es Tu Brute” message Means? :gorilla:

It means “You too, Brutus?”. From Shakespeare’s play Julius Caesar, in which it is said by Caesar during his assassination upon seeing his friend Brutus within the group of assassins.

Some more information.

also, its et tu brute. which is one of the possible final words of Julius Caesar.

so basically its “you too, brute” in the Halo version. Which is, like said a nod to the “you too, brutus”

but if there is disagreement/mistake in this. Feel free to correct me.
