Well, in less than a month I have maxed my rank and all I got was a crappy eagle emblem to show for it. You dont even earn exp anymore. At least in reach after you hit inheritor you would still accumulate exp. I am free to quit as many games as I like now as there is no penalty for quitting and I don’t earn anything for it anyways…

Wait for the REAL ranking system? Seriously, in H3 I can careless about EXP. EXP means nothing, EXP is only respectable when a person has a 50 and 1000+ EXP like back in H3.
If you seriously played this game for EXP… you have your priorities wrong for a FPS game. Rank is what really matters.

Not bashing you or anything man, but thats kinda silly, you should stay in-game and meet new friends or use the tracker spec getsome kills and re-roll the drop if you dont get the weapons you want

There is no real ranking system in halo 4. Just something arbitrary that waypoint will do that halotracker is already doing…

I was kinda kidding with that. Just saying that I could if I wanted because there is no incentive to stay in the game and no penalty for doing it…

Forge maps, custom games and fun of the game have no meaning to you, do they.
yeah im a bit disturbed at how quickly commendations and levels are flying by, seems a bit too quickly, but gears had this issue and they introduced a way to keep leveling by way of a dlc. maybe 343 will add replayability by throwing in some new specializations in a couple months, doubtful as they have already got control of half the players specialization access, hopefully the grand master plan isnt to make the game last by not allowing those guys to level for the next month, as for us that do have the specs available i guess we are done at 130. i really hope for more specializations and more armor and more skins, maybe not armor mods cause itd be hard to add those and not throw something off balance. or maybe the whole idea was to release halo 4 and drop a new xbox and halo 5 next year. but unless they have been working for at least 8 months on halo 5 or plan to double their staff to put it out in half the usual time frame, they had better not do that.

Really, dude? If your only reason for playing a game is to rank up or rack up commendations, then you need to find a new game to play. Try playing the game instead of grinding through the various skinner box devices.

Yea some of the appeal does seem to disappear after max level. I’ve been trying to level the plasma pistol since it’s by far the most insane and dumbest challenge in the game. My k/d is suffering unrecoverably but meh it’s kinda fun
