I followed the instructions on how to change an account. After I clicked “change account” I was redirected to the start page then an error saying “Sign in Error” with the subtitle “Error encountered while signing into XBOX live”. Nothing I have done since has been able to fix the issue, including reinstalling and restarting my PC, any help would be great.

What worked for me was reinstalling Halo: Reach individually on steam.
Right click Halo MCC, choose properties, go to the DLC tab on the top right, uncheck Halo: Reach. I left it like this for a few hours then came back to steam and was prompted for an update. It reinstalled Reach and then after launch it worked perfectly fine!
Check that your OS date and time is set correctly for the location/timezone you’re logging in from as well.
