I was playing warzone assault and after the game ended it did the whole “error retrieving data” thing… which usually isn’t an issue because my points still show up and then I go to the req store and they didn’t this time. is anyone else having this issue? and if so… how many games have I played for nothing? and will I ever see those points? I assume not because the next game worked fine and I only received the points from that game and not the previous.
It gives you the points just wait till next game.
It’s happened to me quite a few times. I think you still get the points but usually I restart the game and I’m then able to view the carnage report and see my reqs. Gets annoying if it keeps happening though!

OP I have looked into this several times and the quote above me is by far the easiest fix to this. You experience and REQ points have so far always been re-added, without notification, after/during your next game.

I do agree that the “retrieving” is frustrating at times, especially if you lost that game or needed that game to open your next REQ pack but on the bright side if you just play another game it stacks with the rewards of your next game and (imo) is often rewarding to see a spiked boost in REQ points and experience (even when fully knowing that “boost” is actually me just skipping the rewards info of the previous game.)

thanks for the replies. I’m glad that one way or another it all works out. I may reset my console and see if that clears up the issue from happening again.
The unable to retrive data issue happend to me a few times. But 2 weeks ago I was 1 win away from reaching diamond rank 1 in arena slayer. And I won the match but it said unable to retrive data. And I never got my req points or positive k/d or the would have been rank up from the match back. And the next 3 matches I lost and had to work my way back from platinum 5 to 6 and then diamond. From my experience with that issue, if it happens in warzone you get your reqs back if you restart the game. But in arena you can say goodbye to the rank and req points you earned.

happened to me too. game said: retraving data for hours and at the end, nothing at all. when I try to load up the store or to check my req packs, it says retreaving data… and at the end nothing again. I restart the game here and there and at the end it seems to always work. but -Yoink!-, can we play normaly?! im tared of all these glitch
its not just the wait we don’t actually get the rp/xp it happened to me again and in arena this time. PLayed another game thereafter and restarted the game, and still didn’t get the xp/rp.
So you don’t always get awarded what you played for. That is total bs. Ive had it happen that you get it a bit later, but that is however, not always the case. Since I have been keeping track I now know this, and its not even rare for me. Many might not even be aware of this issue.

This has happened to me a few times and when I tried quitting or reset I didn’t receive anything. No REQ points, no XP just nothing It frustrates me deeply and I just used a legendary RP boost and boy did I flip out. I just hope 343 fixes that because I just can’t stand it.

I played more games, quit, restarted; nothing.
Oh well, that kind of sucked.

This happens to me all the time. Just either wait for a game or restart Halo 5 and it should clear up.

i’ve noticed a few games that never popped up on my game history as well. while i will say it usually gets added after next game or a restart its not always the case. another problem in warzone is far too often reqs arent available for the entire match.
It happen to me too. It never goes away even when I restart my Xbox one it still won’t let see if I got anything and I had lost my REQ. Points as well so can someone help me get this fix plz and thank u

It happened again today. I should however say that since the last time it did not occur often or even at all for as far i can tell.
Restarting the game and even the console did not work. I could view the carnage report of the game before the one I lost after restart. Havent played games afterwards.

Alright well 2 days ago I was having problems and now I can change my armor but now I don’t get my req. Points and I can still forge and play warzone and arena but no req. Points
