Error receiving data center connection quality...

When trying to play forge or a custom game on Halo 5: Forge I get the message: “Error receiving data center connection quality information. Please try again later.”

Interestingly this does not seem to happen on my home network, but any other network (such as the library or a cafe) I cannot seem to connect. I am rather upset by this as one of the things I was most exited about for Forge on PC was playing it on the go, but this does not seem to be possible.

Any solutions?

Well that clearly sounds like their firewalls are blocking the ports needed to communicate through and/or the packets trying to reach the server.

Basically, you should’ve expected things like this trying to connect to services through a public network.
