I can save forge maps, bookmark or download them. But I can not get my bookmarked game types to load, nor can I “save” or “save as”. The error “error encountered while saving” comes up.
Everything is set to “allow” or “everyone” on the console preferences. still not working.
I removed my profile, cache reset the Xbox, reinstalled halo 5, etc. I have open Nat, etch, etc.
Any help!!?? Yes, I have read and posted on half a dozen other threads, nothing yet.

agreed! I’m in halo right now, none of myle or my five friends can load it!!! We cant load anything!
I can save, and can bookmark custom maps, and can load them by myself.
I can not save or load custom game types! I can bookmark, but not save or load up a game. O stupid!!!
I’ve recently gone through all my settings, deleted nearly all my custom maps that I’ve downloaded from other players, removed all bookmarks (I think)
I STILL can not load any custom game type
Nor can I save any custom game type that I have created
But I can load and save custom maps.
No work, no fix, no advice folks?

I still have the message “error encountered while saving” any time I try to save a custom game type, or “save-as” a bookmarked game type. Because of this, I can not host any custom game lobbies. Still no help?
Its still not working. So stupid.
I’m having the same problem. Although, my issue is with gametypes. Map variants load fine but gametypes will not load.
This is still a problem for me.
Moderators wont like this post because its an “old” issue, but months later its still not fixed. So, its current in my book.
I thank this forum for all its non-wonderful support… the overwhelming response on this thread and others is a testament.
I have the same Problem, just spent time setting up Custom Game settings and when I tried to save them all I get over and over is “error occurred while saving”
