Error: could not find server suitable to members..

Currently i have been getting an error message when trying to play halo 5 that says: could not find server suitable to members of your fireteam
Main problem here is that im not even on a fireteam. Im attempting to join games by myself and this happens to every game mode in arena and warzone.
This has been going on for days now and its becoming very frustrating.
I restarted my xbox and my modem. Im not connected to a router. Xbox live services are up and running for me. I can play every other game online with no problems. My NAT is Open.

Can someone please help me figure this out.

I have done many different troubleshooting ideas to get around this issue to no luck and pestered Xbox support enough to probably make them all hate me. Just know you are not alone in this and others have posted on this too.

have 343 acknowledged this issue? are they working on a fix? frustrating paying money for something and not being able to actually use it.

I’ve been having this problem, too. I played a game of Warzone, took a break, and was never able to go online again. It’s incredibly frustratinv that I paid for a product and that product then proceeds to block access to a majority of its content. I hope 343 acknowledges and fixes this in a timely manner, especially with all the other games coming out that will be diverting my attention from Halo.

I had this problem a couple of days ago, i was playing with no problems and later when i turned off my xbox and 2 hours later this problem appears and cant play like for 2 days, so what i did i open ports and change ip and it worked but at this moment im having this issue again. Of course its not our connection, my nat is open and i can play other games with no troubles. Looks like 343 is not helping on this issue.

This has happened to me 3 times now. Each time it happens, I have done a hard reset (holding the power button down until it beeps) and after turning the system back on it fixed the message. I’m 3 for 3 on that working.

Just offering what worked for me! Try it out and let me know if it works for you too.

I am getting the same issue. It started yesterday and today it will not let me play at all. Wish I would have got Fallout 4 instead of wasting money on a game I cannot play now.

I am having this issue too, it started last night after a game of warzone around midnight… :frowning:

I just fixed this issue, been having it for almost 24 hrs tried everything, this fixed it.

Found a fix. :slight_smile: Reset the build, press the home button, and quit the game, start it up, . I had been doing this, but my buddys told me to keep trying and randomly started to work again, :smiley:

Hey sorry for asking but what do you mean by reset the build because Ive been having the same problem since release date and I want to try this.
