When Season 8 launched, I updated the game only to be greeted by an error code (0xc0000142). I can fix it by deleting everything in the certificates folder in the easyanticheat folder. But I won’t be able to go online since the easyanticheat index is deleted. I tried using the easyanticheat repair tool to no succes as awell as reinstalling the game and doing a system scan. I am playing on Steam and using Windows 11. It was working the day before the update just fine.

- Make sure your Gaming Services app is up to date. If it’s already up to date, go into settings, go to Advanced for the app and Repair
- If step 1 doesn’t help, run the command “sfc /scannow” in a command prompt or powershell prompt, run as an administrator.
