I received an invite from a fiend, loaded up the game, and attempted to sign in.
After trying to sign in I get a blue box that says “-101” in the top left corner.
I’m unable to do anything within the game. I just have this error box on screen that I cannot dismiss.
Alt+F4 is the only option out.
Now when I boot the game I no longer have prompts to enter email and password.
I can only click “Log in”
Then blue screen -101 error again.
This a known issue or am I missing something?

OP; it may be due to the fact that the beta is open as of late and does not necessarily require a closed beta sign-in. Another thing to take note of is that the beta is currently shut down until tonight which even then will only allow you to play offline. I would recommend tuning into Halo Waypoint in order to find the time brackets that H:I will be open tonight and try to sign in then. If it still does not work then attempt to play the beta without going through the invite you received since you no longer need to really be a part of any selection – furthermore; you no longer need to be ‘invited,’ or accepted by a random drawing of lucky players. Hopefully that was helpful. Personally I am going to try and sign in tonight around 5 PM Pacific Standard Time since that is when they opened the night-time play session over the past flights.
