Error authorizing user with Halo 5 guardians

Hi all, I keep being prompted with the following “Error authorizing user with Halo 5 guardians services. You will be unable to access online modes”
I’ve also had errors regarding syncing data as well, is anybody having similar issues of seen anything similar on the net?
I played it last night with no problems and had this problem when I woke up this morning.
Any comments or ideas are really appreciated people. Thanks for your time

343 team?!

I’m in exactly the same boat, it’s driving me mad. Played last night and woke up to find the same message. I had another thread going and no one seems to have answers and 343 are nowhere, can’t find a way to contact any sort of support.

So far I’ve tried:
Deleting saved games
Deleting and reinstalling the game.
Clearing the cache with Mac settings and a hard reset.
Deleting my profile and the redownloading it.

Nothing has worked. Let me know of you find anything useful mate.

Also mate did you play last night?

I’ve also tried making a completely new account, that didn’t work either same error message as soon as I press start at the menu screen, the the synch error message

Nope nothing’s been said on Twitter, and yeah I played a couple games at midnight after playing most of the campaign

I think the fact that we played it last night has done us in somehow.

This happened to me and my wife when we first started the game last night. We just quit the game and started it back up and it worked fine.

I have had this issue all day and now managed to fix it. If anyone is on Sky broadband then check the Sky Shield setting as mine was set to PG13 as default as was blocking access to the game, app and website. This explains why people could play last night (wee hours of the morning) because it’s watershed time is from 5am to 11pm. So check to see if your broadband provider has a safety option set on your routers. Hope this is the answer you guys are looking for and I hope to see you in the warzone :wink:

Same thing just happened to me. Just played three games then went back into connect and got a connectivity error screen. Restarted the game and it said there was an error syncing my profile and wouldn’t connect. Have reset my router, Xbox, cache and cleared all saved games still nothing. Not on Sky broadband so it can’t be that. Hope it gets resolved soon

update: restarted router and modem again and the issue is fixed.

Sky Broad band shield settings is definitely an issue if you have it set to block certain sites. Didn’t realise this until I uninstalled the game to reinstall it again. Now I can get onto this site and hopefully once the game is downloaded that will work aswell.

I don’t have any blocking going on other than Xbox’s settings, but it is set to allow Online gaming and T+ games, and it wasn’t doing this when the game launched at midnight - just this afternoon.

Hope the problem gets resolved soon, but in the meantime I still have Campaign to finish so…

I am getting this error. I am on a college campus. Was playing since midnight. Just started. I can play every other game just fine. This is the only one not working. Please help.
