Try hard resetting your console. This clears the cache and sometimes helps with this issue. Hold the console power button for 10 seconds or until the unit shuts off (don’t just push it quickly). Alternatively, you can turn off the console, unplug it from power, wait 30 sec, plug back in and turn on.
Some things to look into: is your Xbox Live Gold subscription active? When were you last able to play? Are Xbox Live services experiencing any issues?
