Title. Somehow I don’t see it as being fair that any leader ability should be able to instantly drop any given 3 buildings and leave the rest in red hp. Never mind the fact that it’s so cheap. It’s just absolutely insane. Yeah units can dodge it, and at 35 minutes, you can probably reproduce an entire army in less than 2 minutes, less if it’s just core infantry spam. You can’t exactly do that with a base. The slightest bit of follow-up from units can destroy an entire Tech 3 base with all 3 Fortify Base upgrades, THROUGH Healing Drones. I won’t comment on the rest of Atriox’s kit because quite honestly I don’t really know all of the ins and outs of everything in it yet, but I’ve certainly seen enough of Eradication to know how ridiculous it is.

Close Air Support’s pretty busted too imo
I’m not sure if Forge’s Rolling Economy is THAT insane anymore after the nerf
Ark Defense is pretty strong, idk about compared to the others
And I think you’re thinking of Kinsano’s Inferno, yeah that one’s insane too, especially vs. bases, and so are the napalm missles
Given the state of other leader powers I don’t think eradication is a problem, CAS is extremely powerful as is displacement. If you’re going to advocate a nerf for eradication you have to nerf most of the other Tier 5 leader powers too. Leader powers in general are very powerful in this game, but for the most part are all on par with each other with the exception of displacement maybe.
Also if you allow atriox to survive to the late game you’re probably going to lose. Shipmaster is the only leader that matches him late game from what I can see since displacement is pretty OP. With an increased cost/recharge time it’d be fine though.

Fair enough, but even at the bare minimum, CAS will attack units nearby as well, preventing it from just annihilating an entire base with a few tech’d up units behind it. If you somehow manage to get units close enough to your base for Eradication to hit them it’ll just wipe those out too
I guess I’d just like to see some more counterplay to leader powers in general (the ability to target Close Air Support’s gunships for example), and Eradication makes that fundamentally difficult
