Can weapon pickups fling you across the map like a grapple can? No right?
Equipment and weapon pickups are not the same.
There should never be personal abilities attached to you as equipment that allows you different movement.
It should be all the same all the way around or nothing at all.
Honestly tired of âthis isnt Haloâ. If the new Halo isnât classic 100% then idc what is or isnât halo. Fun things should be in regaurdless if itâs Halo or not because we all have our own veiw of what Halo is
True. like that rambo dude has the right view and you have the wrong view.
Yes, weapons and equipment are different. The addition of equipment changes the game, it doesnât make it unfair or unequal anymore than a someone holding a needler vs an AR. Play to the strengths of what youâre holding and against the weakness of what your opponent is holding.

Like I said. Halo CE through halo 3 is Halo. If it isnât those 3games then I donât wanna hear this nonsense about anything being halo or not
Ok so ur telling me
Person 1 with and AR and person 2 with a needler
Is the same as
Person 1 with and AR and person 2 with a needler and grapple hook.
No. Just no bro.
Halo Wars is more of a Halo game than Halo 5

What if person 2 has overshield. OMG we should all start with overshields.
ok lets talk about the servers, Inf is the only halo where if you shoot first, you are 99% guaranteed to win the gunfight so unless you get a lucky nade/ melee you will die and most likely by being shot through a wall as you withdraw from the fight

Does overshield spawn at your base like most equipment does? No I didnât think so. The only fair equipment is the grapple on bazzar that sits right in the middle and even then someone having it and someone not having it is still in fair. And overshield isnât the same as a movement mechanic. You canât cross maps with OS. But you can with the grapple.
So again. Not the same thing. The old halos worked just fine without equipment. Power weapons and power ups are enough
No, itâs not the same. Like I said, it changes the game. If you donât like the added complexity, thatâs fine, but itâs not unfair. The player with the grapple fought for it, it wasnât gifted to them.

You must not get a lot of âreversalsâ huh.
Iâll take this over the DBZ like teleportations in Halo 5 my guy
On bazzar with the grapple in the middle. Yes you can say he fought for it.
Every other equipment spawn is near a player spawn so yes all of the time itâs gifted to you
the repulser has too much power as well taking damage when it pushes you into a wall is BS and it being able to throw you off maps is as cheap as spartan charge was, it should only effect nades, rockets and the player using it

no i get reversals a plenty but i get shot through walls way more.
Itâs funny that people havenât realized that the repulsor is just the spartan charge without damage
How come I can move around while being much safer? But you make no sense. Should we like only have power weapons on the map since lower tier weapons are near player spawns?
Symmetrical maps have symmetrical weapons as well as equipment, sounds equal to me. Not quite the case with asymmetrical maps, doesnât bother me any, but maybe you feel those maps are unfair as well.

A sequel is supposed to be a slight upgrade of the one that came before it. Better graphics and something slightly new that makes it better than the predecessor.
Halo CE to Halo 2 introduced -
- New Weapons
- New Vehicles
- A few new enemies to the Covenant that were fun to fight
- Dual-Wielding
- Vehicle Boarding
- Upgrade to character customization
Halo 2 to Halo 3 introduced -
- New Weapons
- New Vehicles
- Equipment
- Forge
- Further upgrade to character customization
Halo CE thru Halo 3 kept the art style, soundtrack, and gameplay mechanics the same throughout.
Halo 4 decided to do the following -
- Add new enemies that werenât fun to fight
- Add new weapons that didnât really spice up the gameplay all that much
- Tweak ammunition capacity so that all weapons had less to dish out across the board
- Added loadouts to the multiplayer that never had custom loadouts before in the main series
- Redesigned the art style from the ground up
- The soundtrack only has three tracks that sound like they could be Halo music
Halo 5 decided to do the following -
- Keep the terrible art style choice
- Music decided to go off in another direction but at least had a few more good tracks.
- Add mobily-shooter-mechanics to an arena shooter game
- Make fanfiction canon with the story that Brian Reed wrote to replace the original script that was a dozen times better than what we got at launch.
- Restricted customization down HEAVILY from the predecessor title
- Add in War Zone, which although was fun, it was Pay-to-win and WZFF was glitchy with spawning
- Forge was amazing, and we have Skybox Labs to thank for that NOT 343 Industries
Halo 4 and 5 are games that claim to be Halo, but they do not play like Halo NOR do they look like Halo. 343 Industries decided to redesign everything from the ground up, which honestly was just a waste of time and budget costs because all they had to do was upgrade the previous designs we had from Halo 3 instead of make it look entirely like a different franchise altogether. And when it comes to gameplay Halo 4 was the dev team trying to make it into Call of Duty while Halo 5 was the decision to add mobility shooter aspects to the game because Titanfall was cool and everyone wanted to be Titanfall.

at least you know you got shot. In halo 5 my dude would just fall down like he had a heart attack form teleporting.
