Either let us pick the equipment we spawn with halo reach style or remove it entirely.
Off first spawn yes, the game has equal starts after that it becomes an infuriating RNG system that is worse than fiesta, it also encourages people to wait for particular items to spawn before getting back into the team play.
I think it could play well if everyone was given maybe 2 thrusts every spawn, then choose to replace with any other equipment off a rack or whatever. That’s what we do with the AR and Sidekick.
Dawg this is like saying we should start with power weapons because after spawn someone gets sword or rocket. WHat you want to pick your load out with the weapon you spawn in with too because someone grabs a plasma nade. awww baby upset that hhe spawns with a AR/Pistol but the other team grabed a cammado from the wall. so much RNG. god forbid you crybabies accept that people are picking up other weapons and equipent during the match. Try it next time.
You dont want this implemented. Not with how you have to go about playing objectively, amd with your team. Imagine if the enemy team all started with a Shield. No way in hell, does your team win any fight against the enemy. It would be: Move, place shield(s), kill, move, place shield(s), ect. Till the enemy wins.
am I whining? halo 3 was the first halo to have equipment, but they were all balanced by being single use, and reach was balanced by everyone having access to them same with H5
OP I think the Tactical Ops gamemode might be just this.
A game-mode where it is just Team-Slayer, but with spawns letting us choose what equipment we have as a loadout item.
