I have been in many clans and fight in many raids. But the one thing that is very frustrated is that the attackers are outgunned, extremely. The defenders have a full armory of different weapons, DMRs, BRs, Snipers, etc. The attackers only get assault rifles and pistols. I always believe that is unfair for the attackers. I know the ROE (Rules Of Engagement) but the rules don’t state if each side should have equal weapons before the raid begins. There probably is a rule stating equal weapons for both defenders and attackers that I didn’t know about or there is no rule stating that at all. Can anyone tell me if that is a rule for both sides to have equal weapons? If it is not then please tell me how a clan raids work while the attackers are outgunned and do not have a chance to win.
Defense always has weapon advantage. This is something that’s been in every raid I’ve ever played in over the years. Usually attacking side should have at least 1 minor power weapon, being a shotgun or saw usually, though sometimes the ‘power weapon’ is just a DMR. Attacking side has to work together, if you’re going through open raids alone or just not working with teammates you won’t go anywhere. Halo 5 has a lot of movement mechanics that will help out a lot.
So no, teams don’t start out fair as far as weapons go. But so long as the ROE is fair in that there’s what, one of each ‘class’ of power weapon, it shouldn’t be that bad.
