Episode 7...

looks bad**s.

Looks fun, Im still holding out for Broadsword mission. The Mantis fight was fun, so im hopping they will do another misson where you use a vehicle for most of it

Wish their video player worked on firefox…

> Wish their video player worked on firefox…

It works fine for me, maybe you need to update silverlight.

OT: Episode 7 looks like it is going to be an interesting one.

Episode 7 looks amazing! I wonder whats going to happen with halsey and Jul 'Mdama.

Looks awesome! I wonder why Roland is all static-y at the end.

OMG, this looks AWESOME!

WOW, I’ve been waiting for the Infinity to be invaded! I’m glad it’s happening. Now at least Palmer has to do some "real fighting!

343 has said we’ll have a mission not on Requiem. Now I guess we know it’s going to be on the Infinity!!!

WOOT!!!

Looks like Halsey will finally get some retribution after all the crap the UNSC and ONI have put her through. Slapping Lasky was amazing.

Link?

Mantis fight WAS fun.

A mission with a Pelican and one with Broadswords = epic.

> Looks like Halsey will finally get some retribution after all the crap the UNSC and ONI have put her through. Slapping Lasky was amazing.

She kidnapped children and performed experiments that were blatant violations of their basic human rights. Those who made it through were brainwashed into becoming puppets for the military to quell rebellion… the rest were disfigured or killed.

Oh man, she’s getting such cruel treatment for being a war criminal.

Also, she’s committing treason by cooperating with active hostiles. Yeah… they’re putting her through so much crap.

> Looks like Halsey will finally get some retribution after all the crap the UNSC and ONI have put her through. Slapping Lasky was amazing.

If she willingly works with Jul 'Mdama then I’m writing her off as a traitor and hope she gets a bullet in the forehead.

I’ve no stomach for traitors, regardless of their past contributions to humanity. I care not for their reasoning, whether they had gripes or anger towards the UNSC and/or ONI. Nothing excuses aiding the enemy during wartime.

> Force Commander Gabriel Angelos:
> Innocents die so that humanity may live. I ended their suffering, as I will end yours.
> [after several blows from Gabriel’s sword, Isador is beaten and kneeling before him]
>
> Librarian Isador Akios:
> You have beaten me. I cannot believe it. I was wrong, Gabriel, so wrong. I thought I was strong, strong enough to control it. I wanted to use the power for good, for the Imperium! You must see that! You must give me the chance to make amends! To seek redemption!
>
> Force Commander Gabriel Angelos:
> If redemption is what you seek, then that is what I will give you.
> [With his Bolt Pistol Gabriel shoots Isador in the forehead, as several Blood Ravens Space Marines approach]
>
> Force Commander Gabriel Angelos:
> This is the fate of traitors. Remember this and do not stray. If you do I will be ready to render you the same service.

> She kidnapped children and performed experiments that were blatant violations of their basic human rights.

Not on her own will if the Librarian is to be believed. And even then, we both know that isn’t the real reason she is being locked up.

> Those who made it through were brainwashed into becoming puppets for the military to quell rebellion… the rest were disfigured or killed.

A rebellion that threatened to plunge mankind into a new Dark Age or worse. The ends justified the means.

> Oh man, she’s getting such cruel treatment for being a war criminal.

Compared to someone like Ackerson, who turned war orphans into suicide soldiers, and was going to be made the head of the S-IV project, yeah she is.

> Also, she’s committing treason by cooperating with active hostiles. Yeah… they’re putting her through so much crap.

Hostilities I find that are being more cooperative then her own people, funnily enough. Besides, what if she is only using Jul?

She has already specificaly stated she did NOT help them in any way or form. She simply accepted information intended to “bribe” her. That’s actually good counter espionage work. Make the enemy think you are in his pocket with a bribe, when you are infact using it against them. If anything every action she has done thusfar has been to improve humanities knowledge and standing in the galaxy.

The hingeheads want to get to the librarian for the store on knowledge. But they dont know that humanity are the reclaimers of promethian knowledge. Halsey knows this (shown in previous spops video), so she is secretly confident the Covenant are not really a threat with regards to the Librarians knowledge base.

I have a feeling she is going to be vindicated, and prove herself indisposable to the efforts on Requiem.

> She has already specificaly stated she did NOT help them in any way or form. She simply accepted information intended to “bribe” her.

The word of the accused party in any situation does not offer much in the way of tangible proof…although I expect if anything damning was found on her datapad action would have already been taken so I suppose you’re right.

True you make valid points, but considering Karen Traviss’ depiction of Halsey I don’t know really where 343 are taking her. I liked the old Halsey myself, before the dark times, before the Glasslands…

> I have a feeling she is going to be vindicated, and prove herself indisposable to the efforts on Requiem.

I hope so too actually believe it or not, I do like the character of Halsey…but if the writers have her up and willingly help the Elites, well, duty comes first.

That hits me deep brother.

Man, as soon as I read “before the dark times”, I immediately switched to reading in Alec Guinness mode. RIP.

But yeah, Glasslands threw my impression of Halsey out the window… or at least onto the fire escape, hopefully to be brought back inside where it belongs.

*fingers still crossed
