Episode 6 was a nice way to start a Monday morning, but two things have been troubling me. First of all, why would the elite blow up that one scientist knowing he sent his brother to go running after him? He kinda had that coming to him. Second of all (although the plot has become interesting) the last 2 chapters were a drag to finish. Idk if it was because I lost interest after playing the first three chapters or its just to repetitive, but it was really testing my patience just walking from one area of a large map to another. It would be a nice change of pace if lives were added, or there were checkpoint systems as soon as everyone dies just like in the campaign because man is spawning next to a enemy wraith annoying! Overall, in my opinion, I see improvement: the new areas were a nice welcome.

Gek is not a character shown to have an abundance of wisdom and forethought. I believe this was due to his own personality flaws getting in the way of effectiveness, and the fear of getting 'Mdama even more upset with him (which might involve getting murdered-or worse-dishonored before his comrades). As for the second, maybe it’s because you were either playing alone or played all five episodes in one go?
I don’t understand why they strapped a super-powerful nuclear vest on Glassman. The Elites were always near Glassman, so why strap on such a powerful vest? A vest equivalent to the power of an explosion of a plasma grenade would be enough.

I believe in the books Jul’ Mdama was taken prisoner by the UNSC and they put an explosive vest on him, so it might be payback.

Hmm, I guess. If that is true the Storm Covenant’s attempt at revenge backfired.
Still, if I was the Elite who put the explosive vest on Glassman, I would have put on a weaker explosive-vest. It would obviously be a lot smarter.
It still doesn’t make sense because Mdama threatened the scientist by showing him the detonator when him and his elites were all in a circle in one of the episode’s earlier cutscenes. Clearly there is some problem with logic.
Another thing I don’t like about this episode’s cinematic is that Thorne arrives JUST in time to save Glassman from the explosive vest. Very unlikely.
It also bugged me when Gek decided to blow up Glassman instead of… I don’t know, wait patiently for the Elites to bring back an unarmed prisoner.
If he wanted to kill him so badly, then why not stop everyone and tell them “hey, wait, I’ve got a detonator!”. Nope, send the cavalry first, then blow him up, what could possibly go wrong?

I honestly think its because they are trying to portray Gek as a stupid character, he will likely be the downfall of whatever they are planning, notice how he kept going to find doctorglassman, instead of run back, he couldnt face telling his superior that he killed his team, in ways Gek is trying to proove himself, and in his attempts worsens the situation

Dude, their slightly intelligent lizards, what ounce of reasoning do you think they have? lol

his brother was one of the elites dragging Thorne, hence the plasma shot in his helmet
