I was playing this solo on Legendary when at the very last objective, some stupid Covenant got himself stuck inside the map, so I was unable to kill him and end the mission.

I’m not saying something is wrong with this particular chapter, because I doubt it’s repeatable, but it was a huge pain in the -Yoink- to spend 45 minutes on this only to have the game tell me to go -Yoink- myself.

Also, why are the Phantoms indestructible in this mission??? After the Covie got stuck, I spent 15 more minutes just trying to blow up one of the Phantoms. Is there a damage threshold that is required to blow them up, like, “inflict this much damage first, then finish it off with a rocket round or higher”?

Yes, about that guy, standing on the same side of the map where he is supposed to get stuck, will prevent him to.
About the Phantoms, they are not undestructible. I took out 4 of them with the plasma cannons on the map when the other idiot was also stuck as well… I restarted and went where i told you and i was able to finish the mission.

I had the same problem.

Played that mission 5 times trying to figure out the problem. For me it was one of the elites from the drop pod. He lands and runs straight through the rockface outside the map.

I beat it by tagging him with a BR shot the min he landed. The shots cause him to take cover which breaks his run to the rock. But you have to tag him the min he lands.

Oh wow I didn’t realize this was actually a problem with the chapter itself. I’ve now posted the picture I took of the guy. I literally unloaded every single piece of ammunition in the entire map into the Phantoms, including the Phantom’s own Plasma Turrets.

I don’t know about this specific mission but my only complaint about solo Spartan Ops is that on occasion you are re-spawned back into an impossible scenario to get away from.

ie spawning right in the middle of numerous enemies all taking pot shots at you just resulting in death & a rinse /repeat cycle.

Also, is it my imagination or do the Wraiths really aim with more deadly accuracy on SO than Campaign.

So many times I think I am nowhere near the main fire only to find myself dying as I am hit.
