Simple question. Does anyone know who the girl is canon-wise during the Halo 4 epilogue staring at Chief like he is a god when he walks by?
It was Sarah Palmer. Commander of the Spartan IVs. You met her earlier in the Campaign, and she plays a lead roll in Spartan Ops.

Might I also add … The awestruck look that she gave was also probably due to the fact that The Chief just single handedly destroyed the Didacts collossal ship : and without naval support .
She probably pondered how many Spartan 4s it would’ve taken to accomplish that !!!
