Epic Gaming is seeking dedicated, knowledgeable players who are interested in taking on leadership roles within our Community and specifically for the Halo Division.
Epic Gaming is a military style, competitive and casual gaming Community with strong ties to Charity based tournaments, (the Community itself will be hosting a wide variety of such events throughout the year).
The Community is getting an official relaunch after its previous leaders left its members high and dry. That being said, we are starting completely over, from scratch and looking for highly motivated personnel, preferably with previous leadership experience, but not necessary. We have a strong support channel for leaders, so anyone who may be interested in putting in the time and energy is more than welcome to.
Being a leader in Epic Gaming is not like other gaming communities, while leaders do hold sway, we try to be as democratic as possible. So, all of our members have a say in policy.
That being said, specifically what we are looking for is a person who loves Halo. Has a lot of knowledge about the game and the Halo Community itself. Can be involved heavily in the Epic Gaming, Halo Community. Can develop tactics, strategies, map call outs. Can enforce rules and regulations among many Teams. Can work well with Team Leaders, can explain mission objectives and get results, when needed. Can spend a good amount of time online, on the website doing administrative work when necessary. Can follow protocol and stipulations from higher echelon of Command. Knows when to seek input from members before just jumping to a decision.
Being a leader in Epic Gaming is more than just being able to bark orders, its about Commanding respect from your peers, your Team Leaders, and your Team Members. Putting in the extra work so the Community as a whole is better. It is a lot of work.
We are also seeking Team Leaders for Halo. This position is defined by training a group (depending on game type) to compete in matchmaking or competitively. To keep tabs of members activities, enforce rules and regulations put out by the Division and the Council. To ensure members are meeting activity requirements.
These positions are more than about just gaming, they require dedication to the Community and the members that these positions lead. Our staff are expected to work hard as well as play hard.
In addition we are also seeking Teams or Clans that are looking to merge. Terms concerning mergers can be discussed on our website.
