Environmental sounds in Halo 4

Hey everyone, I was recently looking back through gameplay of previous Halos, and one thing that grabbed my attention was the surrounding sounds of the environment. Examples:

Halo 2

Halo Reach

I know it’s VERY small, and most people won’t probably care, but I miss the environment producing memorable sounds, and you can identify a map easily by it’s atmospheric sounds (such as the metal clanks of the satellite on Ascension) Seems most maps in Reach barely had any background noise at all, purely gameplay noise.

I know, very nit picky, but I love the Halo world, and I love the little details they put into the games, such as these little sounds or the every ranging skyboxs.

Do you guys have any thoughts into this and think they should reintroduce this in the Halo franchise? Or you think it’s too small of a thing that you can just pass on?
