On the weapon stats page of Halo Waypoint, I see a count of kills with “environmental explosives.” What are these? I’ve never seen any of them in any Arena or Warzone game. There are no medals or commendations for them, either.
the red barrels/glowing fusion coils. you blow them up with someone near them, they die. they don’t have an icon for the kill ingame, either.
There’s explosive barrels on most maps, an easy example would be the Light Rifle spawn on Plaza. A shot or two to that will blow them up and a kill with that explosion is what you’re looking for.
Usually get then accidentally, whenever I try to end a fight by shooting the barrels behind them, bullet magnetism and aim assist just pelts their ankles and I get head shotted
