Enticing the community to play.

So i got a email about battlefield 4. This weekend there is double xp and a community challenge to get a gold pack. Now this game came out October 29, 2013 and they’re enticing me to play. Not that i still have the game.
Halo 5 has done none of this unless i am mistaken, no double rp/xp, and no community like challenges, something like get x kills with a Hydra or x of x medal. Rewarding players with a gold pack, great for anyone.
How many people still only play on the weekends?
Halo 5 could learn alot from this and just give the community something for still playing and supporting the game after release especially in the current multiplayer climate where populations just aren’t lasting. Halo 5 has competition and there is nothing wrong with seeing a good idea and ultilising it, bringing players in and rewarding them for just playing.
Let’s say you own Black Ops 3, Star Wars Battlefront and Halo 5:Guardians. Now you only have chance to play one game this weekend. One of these games has an community event going on, rewarding your participation. This is more likely to entice you to play the game, especially if you like all those games and switch between the three.
Now i’ve seen plenty of threads about weekly/daily challenges and double xp/rp and they exist for good reason. And hopefully this post put weight behind these topics.
Thoughts?

Good point… Who in this world doesn’t like perks!

Daily/Weekly challenges would be an awesome addition. Halo 5 has done the extra XP boosts when they were doing the Weekend playlists, however a Double XP and or RP weekend would be awesome, or maybe a half off REQ packs weekend. Community challenges would also be awesome. I would love to see things like this implemented.

Nah they love their microtransaction $$$

I used to play Halo Reach a lot just for completing the daily/weekly challenges, and it even encouraged me to play what I don’t usually play (e.g. in Halo 5’s case it’d be campaign/Warzone). The problem now is that retaining players won’t have the same effect it would’ve had at launch, as many people have moved on from Halo 5 already.

They should do weekly and one monthly challenge(s).

They should also do the same but for company challenges, and none for kills, maybe wins.
