ok so in the Bulletin BSAngel said all the armor in the PAX demo was all the armor in the game. this saddens me deeply as i was hoping for some better helmets and i really enjoy ranking up for greater armor but i looked at all the armor and there doesnt seem to be any on the same level as the skull helmet in Reach

Recruit is definitely the closest to ODST. It seems to be a blend between Mk V and ODST, which results in a great looking helmet.
Itās a shame that so many great looking helmets didnāt make it such as ODST, CQB, Mk V or Mk V. But personally I am just disappointed in the poor artistic quality of the H4 helmets as a whole, and especially disappointed in āreimaginingsā like the Commando helmet. I just canāt believe 343i felt the new Commando helmet was somehow an improvement.
Halo 4 has the worst artistic quality of any Halo game.
I am so happy about all the armor. It all looks so unique and totally awesome!

Itās a shame that Recruit is exclusive. It seems like a clever marketing trick on 343iās part to me. āLetās make one of the communityās favorite helmets exclusive under a different name!ā
From the bulletin:

Its possible that some of the armor wasnāt available because it wasnāt unlocked yet, but was technically in the PAX build.

Why? If you donāt like ODST or Mark V you donāt have to wear them but there a tons of other people that do.

Although Recruit is definitely pretty close that doesnāt change the fact the War Master also looks pretty similar. War Master is much more round like the ODST Helmet.
