I can’t remember the last time that I read a weekly update that didn’t include some bullcrap about weapon tuning. Can you people please stop recycling information?! Of all the things wrong with Halo 4, weapon tuning is probably one of my least concerns. I really couldn’t care less if the light rifle is the same as the DMR and what the spread is on the carbine. Just tune them and be done with it. How about you talk about issues that haven’t EVER been addressed?!
FOR EXAMPLE: WHERE IS ASSAULT?!
WHERE IS RACE?!
WHERE IS JUGGERNAUT?!

Seriously? You’re complaining about them actually trying to fix the game and make it more balanced? All because you want EVEN more GameTypes that people probably won’t play?
Sadly, I don’t think we will see those game types in this installment of Halo. Perhaps in the next one.

I actually like getting updates on the weapon tuning. It seems that no matter what 343 does, some people on these forums just don’t stop complaining…

I’m glad they are balancing the weapons -Yoink!-. I’m saying that I don’t need to hear about it every -Yoink!- week!!! Have you never played Halo 2, or Halo 3 or Halo Reach? Assault was a gametype that EVERYONE played, yet for SOME reason it isn’t in Halo 4.
I never said “DON’T BALANCE THE GAME!” I said I don’t need to hear about it week after week after week after week after week after week that “we are balancing the weapons.” Just balance the -Yoink!- weapons and move on to things that people actually care about!

Dude, just shut up… Assault was awesome, and Race was really fun in Customs, i never really played Juggernaut but it was fun too, there was no reason for 343 to remove them

Weapon tuning is a hot topic in Halo 4 atm, besides it’s not a refresh it’s weekly updates on different changes.

Weapon tuning is a very big issue. Without proper balance, things can be very frustrating even in the other removed game modes. It’s a big part of the basic gameplay.

This. Also, 343 is talking about many other things in the weekly bulletins. Then the time comes, they might also be talking about the removed gametypes. But for now, not.

Weapon balance is a huge issue, perhaps the biggest issue facing Halo 4, and will impact the game across the board in every gametype. As for the addition of gametypes that is harder for 343i to do and I don’t even know if they can, I’m more concerned about them improving what we already have.
Plus personally the only gametype I miss is Assault. I got incredibly sick of Race because of how often you guys voted for it in Halo 3/Reach, Regicide is close enough to VIP (hell I think its better), and I haven’t played a single game of Juggernaut since H2 so I got over that a long time ago.
I’m still waiting on news on tweaks to the Plasma Pistol. The thing deserves to stand on it’s own as a Sidearm. Just buff it’s semi-automatic fire/make it take longer to overheat or something.
It wouldn’t kill the game to have the Reach Beta PP back lol.

Weapon Tuning is a “HOT TOPIC”?!?! Are you high?! The only reason it’s a hot topic is because that’s the only thing they are talking about. Hell, SARDINES COULD BE A HOT TOPIC IF THAT’S ALL THEY TALKED ABOUT EVERY WEEK!
How many times do we need to be told “we are tuning weapons.” We get it. MOVE ON! It’s like hearing your grandpa tell war stories about how he got crabs from some -Yoink!- in Vietnam over and over and over again. WE GET IT GRANDPA…YOU WERE A -Yoink- IN VIETNAM! It was a hot topic even BEFORE they announced any weapon tuning. DMR threads were the most popular threads being made on the forums and even after the first day, people were saying things here on the forums about problems with the tuning. Each week, there were slight changes based on community feedback, hence why it’s appeared in every bulletin since. Stop whining for the sake of whining. You obviously have NO IDEA what you are talking about and your opinion on the whole “weapon balance” thing is a very small minority.

It IS a hot topic, not because they are talking about it every weeks, but because A LOT of people talk about it. Check the forums. A lot of people complain about weapons, especially the DMR at the moment (and the Boltshot before nerf).
And no, they are not talking about the same stuff every week, they keep US, the community, updated. What nearly everybody wants. We can be lucky, tehy keep us updated on a big thing. They could also just say nothing, and throw a new update at us on June 3rd.
They talk about a lot. Not only the ‘big’ update. How abput you wait, until they’re done with it and return to other topics?

Weapon Tuning is a hot topic right now and will continue to become hotter until it is finally released on June 3rd. To many people on these Forums that is what we’re focusing on. If you need to play those gametypes so badly, go on Reach.
On a side note, I’d much rather have balanced weapons over some poorly made race map any day of the week.
