Enough is Enough

Before I begin I would just like to point out that all of this is my own opinion.

Now ever since the beta, or even before that really, I have heard and read numerous people complaining and -Yoinking!- about Halo 5. Actually it goes back way before that, many decided to -Yoink- about Halo 4, and since they hated it, they called 343i incompetent. So you mean to tell me that you are going to call a game company incompetent after making their first FPS game? I am not counting Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary due to the fact they didn’t completely make it Bungie did and the remade it. So 343i made their first game and many Halo fans didn’t like it, ok you were entitled to do so, however instead of offering constructive feedback there was a lot of -Yoinking!- and moaning. Now that is happening with Halo 5. The community is divided on it, and the -Yoinking!- and moaning continues on again. Here is an idea, instead of -Yoinking!- and moaning why not offer feedback instead? There was a thread a while back about changes that were going to be made in Halo 5 based on community feedback. So I’ll say this again instead of -Yoinking!- and moaning offer 343i constructive feedback to make future games better. They clearly learned from Halo 4 things we did and did not like, and they listened. But calling them incompetent is completely unjustifiable, they made a game many didn’t like it so they listened to their fans and changed things, they offered a beta for the multiplayer and are making changes to it based on community feedback. I’m not trying to overly defend them, however I’m sure it’ll come across as that.

I’ll say it one last time offer constructive feedback to 343i they listen, if you don’t get out of this community, its people like you who sit there and -Yoink- and complain but offer no constructive feedback that is driving Halo down.

Feel free to offer what you think, I’m sure there are those of you who agree and those of you who don’t.

Sincerely,

A fan tired of all the -Yoinking!- and complaining

Oh the irony

Nope. Not today.

Blue Team was confirmed in Halo 5. It’s good news only around here.

Just ignore the haters. No more “yoinks”, please.

Well your feedback is usually pretty constructive, so I wouldn’t take his post personally. So even though I don’t see eye-to-eye with your points, they make sense because you’re coherent about them (if not passionately dramatic from time to time, but who isn’t?). You can actually carry on a back-&-forth with people and have a reasoned debate. I think he’s talking about the more belligerent among us.

343i doesn’t need you to fight their battles, they’re a big company, if they couldn’t handle the heat then I’d be disappointed.

Also, since you’re so tired of a few rants on the internet, then perhaps it is you that needs to leave, or, you know, grow some thicker skin.

Hey OP,

I read all the way through your post and I share your concerns. I also came to a realization lately that no matter what game/product/feature/invention, people will always hate on it on the internet. Halo 5, Rainbow Six: Siege, the Apple Watch, Sidney Crosby, Justin Bieber, etc etc. Games are coming out and they look great and would be a lot of fun, but instead all we hear about is negativity, how they’re not going to sell well and how they suck.

This is what I learned, no matter what reddit, neogaf or any website says, the majority of people enjoy and have fun with video games. Let them hate, because it will never, ever change anything.

More or less I am talking about those who more or less blindly hate without doing some research into the game, or have actually played it. (assuming they can if it isn’t released…like the beta for instance).
I like to have a reasoned debate the only problem is a lot of people who hate on the game don’t look into any changes, or haven’t played it, or simply say: “it looks like CoD”.

That make sense at all?

I’m pretty sure that even if the feedback is constructive, people would still say to stop complaining

Among the countless sprint threads, there are also the “Shut up and give them criticism” threads.

You are saying the same things many said before you. This is the way things work.

There is a difference in my opinion on what is constructive and what is complaining. Constructive to me is something like this: The Dmr has to high a fire rate, with its faster fire rate than the br it beats it almost every time. Non constructive (complaining) is: Fix the Dmr its OP. I don’t believe those two examples those are just what i mean by constructive and complaining. Basically anytime you don’t explain why something needs to be fixed it is complaining at least in my eyes.

Nice to see you here, its always good to see people who know what they are talking about. (Not sarcastic)

This is a weird time to post this thread because things have been good the last few days with the puzzle and Blue Team…

And what do you think will happen when that is over? I love what they are doing, but it is inevitable that once it runs its course people will start to complain again. Ah well lets just let the misinformed complain some more.
