I agree with the OP enough is enough. Enough reskinned maps, vehicles,weapons, armors, etc. Enough reqs bloating the already questionable unlock system that makes everything worthless and hold no value. Enough changing -Yoink- around so that it’s unrecognizable, only to change it back due to community back lash. The business practices of major publishers/devs are questionable across the board, not just 343/MS. I agree there are better ways to handle it then hate and death threats, but not saying anything is no solution either.
I’m glad for anyone that loves H5, but to me, the franchise is still a sinking ship that most people have now jumped from. The depressingly low population is proof of that. AAA titles are no longer the storied, ground breaking franchises they used to be. Now there cash cows devised to milk their respective patrons for as much $$$ as possible. Just look at month of mythic! I’m no business major, but I know what I like in a game and 343/MS has not delivered. We don’t need another carbon copy modern FPS but that’s what they gave us. There are plenty of threads detailing H5s flaws and how to fix them so I don’t feel the need to explain them any further. But I’m not letting up until I’m confident 343 is taking our views and opinions to heart, and delivers the game we’ve been hoping and waiting for. So it’s probably gonna be a while…
Enough is enough with these suck up threads to 343i. The only thing that Halo 5 has completely executed to the fan base is Forge. Forge is phenomenal with all the different fundamentals and ways you can create your own maps and settings, including that you are now able to Forge on PC. Absolutely amazing. Campaign was terrible, and multiplayer is just eh. There isn’t a single map that stands out to me that I look forward to playing. Surprisingly enough, I wasn’t the biggest Halo 4 fan either, but at least I got pumped to play a game mode on Haven. The way they implement the community maps is nice, but I like playing on maps made by the developer, in a studio, other than them forging it too. Action sack is what that is for. Not slayer, BTB, FFA, I mean, seriously? I won’t go on ranting about micro transactions and all the “free” content they release either. The only reason I have ever owned an Xbox, Xbox 360, and a Xbox One, is merely for Halo. Huge fan of the franchise, just disappointed the way it has headed. Halo Reach was alright, still played it a ton, looked forward to it, and enjoyed it. Halo 4, Halo 5, MCC (enjoyable after they fixed majority of the issues even the multiplayer is still screwed up), were on a downward spiral for the franchise. 343i needs to wake up, don’t be Bungie, don’t try to be Bungie, but look at how Bungie developed the game. Halo used to be a simple yet competitive game, now your Spartan can do 10 different things such as Spartan Charge, “Hovering”, etc. Just give us the roots of old Halo, with their own twist. Not changing everything we know and introducing millions of armor choices that all look the same. Make us work to earn the armor. Not unlock it randomly with REQ points either earned, or bought.

You know what the problem is OP, it is that 343 is pushing us as far as they can with microtransactions and poor management until we break. That breaking point is where some of us go crazy and sometimes do stupid things like insulting devs and executives. Most of these issues would disappear if 343 interacted more directly with the community and actually did something with our feedback more often. Because right now it feels like we’re getting the Halo that 343 wants and not what most of us want. But the problems have to be dealt with on THEIR end first.

I too have played the other halo’s 2 was my favorite and 3 was my least… But now 5 is my favorite and the only thing I don’t like is I’m not a BA at this games like the halo 2 days… But I’m older and slower and my hands have worked long hour with a job and my timing will get slower and slower as I age… But this game, Halo 5, brings out all the joy I used to have playing halo 2,long hours into the night when I was young and still living at home and going to school… So thank you again 343i… If you didn’t have haters, you wouldn’t be doing the job right

I made an entirely new account for the xbox one, i looked to see if i could link my old one but not sure how. I have played the other ones though, im not the type of person to just pick a random game and play. I need to know the story, like with the witcher series, or metal gear solid.
