Oh my god please stop with the ridiculous negativity! Some of us are trying to enjoy this game and pretty much all I’m hearing on these forums 24/7 is complaining about how bad it is, what people think is wrong with it, all of its “issues” etc. This is a good game with a fun campaign and an excellent multiplayer, and many of us really are enjoying it.

I can’t stop you from disliking Halo 5 if it’s not your thing. If it’s not your type of game, it’s ok. To each their own. But you don’t have to come on here and scream and whine and complain and spread your negativity for no reason other than to pointlessly vent and ruin the excitement for all of us.

I love the game, but criticism is a good thing for the development of a game after release, now most of this criticism is not constructive, but it points out many flaws in the game. Like getting your CSR deranked from quitting players.

This isn’t a place to ‘display’ hate lmao. The forums are for general talk of Halo 5 and feedback to better the game. Also for someone who hasn’t played Halo 5, you sure have a strong opinion already.

Well, maybe if there weren’t so many things wrong with the game, we wouldn’t have to complain…

Actually, as history has proven. Yes, we do have to come on here and scream. If we don’t huge issues like screwed up spawns and aiming bugs would be swept under the rug. 343 has already proven they’re willing to do that with MCC.

It’s funny watching people tell those that’re speaking against the game to stop … when they’re the ones that chose to come onto the forums and read the negative forums posts instead of playing the game that they’re having oh so much fun with.

Agreed. it’s becoming like the Destiny forums. Moaning. -Yoinking!-. Complaining. IF YOU DON’T LIKE THE GAME DON’T PLAY IT. Us that do don’t care about your opinions.

What you’re looking at, are real opinions from real people, and you need to accept that yours’ isn’t always right, and their’s isn’t always wrong.

Personally I’ve loved everything about Halo 5 aside from the constant grinding for armor.

343 needs criticism, much of it. If we didn’t speak about anything, they’d be lost in the woods. Whether you like it or not, it helps no 1, not even them, to be completely contempt with everything 343 all the time. You like the game, cool beans, leave the fixing and improvement critiques to people that really want Halo to be better.

I’m fed up of the frantic game play. Halo was never like this. I’m not having fun at all. I spent day after day on halo 2/3 but im sick of this already. I read someone say that reach was the best of the modern halo’s and I hated that game but ive got to say I would swap halo4/5 for that any day

I can understand that there are some things in the game that can be criticized. That’s not what I’m saying. Im just saying that a lot of this hate is just blind and unconstructive and really doesn’t serve much of a purpose

Some of them may be, but like half of the ones I’ve read are generalities. Criticisms and critiques are one thing, but when it comes down to ‘It’s impossible to get kills because the magnum is too powerful’ or ‘The maps suck!’, they’re just negative, not reasonable complaints. The problem is, those garner the most responses, either agreeing or disagreeing, and so they stay at the top of the forums.
Especially since the for last few days, those of us enjoying Halo 5 have been busy playing in our free time, rather than be here on the forums defending it. Luckly, it doesn’t really need a defense. It’s a pretty solid game.

Nothing is perfect, but Halo 5 is actually pretty awesome. I’ve played halo since the beginning as well and I’m glad its not Halo 2 or 3. Those were great games and fun in their time, but things progress and there are new mechanics to explore. The Spartan abilities are great and the mobility is actually fun. Its a much better mechanic than COD, Destiny or titanfall.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and forums are a place to state opinions and feedback. However, not posting true, constructive feedback doesn’t help anyone especially the developers. There is so much hypocrisy in gamers. When BlackOps 3 comes as out, it will be hailed as a master piece, be the most played game and sell more than any other game this year. Yet, its a total re-hash and rip off of titanfall mechanics. Talk about a game with zero innovation.

Its crazy there are so many posts about the “evil” 343 who killed halo and doesn’t care about players or the franchise all while twisting their mustache. Developers spend years of their lives working on a release. I wonder if any of these posters have any idea the amount of overtime hours and dedication devs put into titles. 343 passionately cares about Halo. I know first hand that each one of these unconstructive criticisms cut them to the core. Especially the posts that state 343 doesn’t care about players.

Also, lets not forget that Bungie quit Halo. They couldn’t wait to hang it up. Luckily for us Halo fans, 343 was created to pick it up. They are their own studio and they are not going to just sit in Bungie’s shadow forever. Of course they are going to make Halo their own. Good for them as a studio and good for us as fans. I’m glad 343 is here and making Halo because Bungie didn’t care.

Its ironic how much Bungie and MS clashed culturally and yet first chance, Bungie partners up with Activision, which in my book is worse the EA. I actually love Bungie as a studio and they needed to make money to fund destiny so good for them and good for us in that we get new games from Bungie. And that’s my point; Bungie moved on to create new experiences. Just like 343 will move forward to create new Halo experiences. Growth and change is good for everyone.

I’m personally thrilled I’m not still playing Halo 2. It was fun back then, but times change. Nostalgia is great because we recall good feelings and times shared. But if we never move forward to new experiences then we can never remember the fun times we shared. Personally, I always hated that I couldn’t run in the old halo games. And that’s not coming from being a COD player, which I’m not, but just that I like faster-paced games. I’m happy Halo has picked up a bit more fluidness. If we are being honest, I’d bet that if 343 just reskinned Halo 2 and called it Halo 5 people would still complain. Halo is not modern enough and it has no place among modern shooters. Honestly, 343 can’t win. They will always be criticized by anonymous posters in forums.

So, this post is long-winded and I should shut up and just go play Halo…If you hate Halo 5 then that’s ok. Its your right and you are welcome to your opinion, but if you don’t have actual constructive criticism the devs can use to make the game better, then don’t bother posting and just go play something else. You’d be a happier gamer : )
