Man is it getting old with all of these posts about “343 ripped us off,” “343 is ruining Halo,” “The REQ system sucks,” blah, blah BLAH!!! WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD!!! Nothing is for free, kids, and - revelation here - you have to earn/purchase/work for things. Get over the entitlement, stop complaining, and enjoy what you have. Here, I’ll give you a short list to start seeing the bright side:
- Freedom (i.e., you have the ability to not only play this game, but to post your nonsense gibberish on a forum like this)
- The ability to earn REQ points by simply playing the game (i.e., you don’t HAVE to pay real money to get the REQ’s, you can actually just do what you were going to do anyway - play the game - and earn the REQ’s)
- 343 has offered all additional content FOR FREE (i.e., for those of you that obviously can’t put this one together, YOU HAVEN’T HAD TO PAY A DIME FOR ANYTHING BUT THE GAME ITSELF!)
- A company, 343, that clearly listens to its’ community (i.e., all of these changes we continue to get, 7 months after launch, mind you, have largely been due to requests by the community - who else does that?!)
Since I said the list would be short, I’ll stop there. For now. Bottom line, shut up already! Your blubbering is quite annoying!!!

Actually you don’t have to buy req packs with real money. Its an option to make the experience go by quicker. However, you lose out on all the fun and experience unlocking everything. It makes the person lazy, zero effort, and don’t even want to try(if you buy that $100 gold req pack one like twice… LOL). Like whats the point. But its okay if you buy a little bit or when you are nearly done.
So when a game launches without half of its normal core gamemodes and features and people complain is that them being entitled?

I’m not going to stop criticizing the lack of game modes and playlists until they are in the game and done right. This is stuff that came in the previous games at the bloody launch. So sorry I have standards from a 15 year old franchise, and so sorry that I paid $60 for less content than Halo 4.

The remix maps don’t help make the game feel fresh unfortunately. The maps made by users in Forge are 100x better than any map in the rotation. Even the remakes from previous Halos are better.
I’m all for new content but remaking a below average map multiple times doesn’t scream quality.

Thats true, but if I remembered correctly, much of the content that Halo 4 had, like action sack came with the paid DLC. Players were unabled to play the new gamemodes.
People who mindlessly defend games and their developers seem eerily similar to Stockholm syndrome victims.

It’s so ironic to witness players in the community appear to mindlessly complain about the “complainers” who are attempting to call out 343’s mistakes to prevent further flaws of their future games like halo 6. Have you even bothered viewing the arguments that people like me have tried constructing so that you can find a stronger perspective of the “pessimists” of the community? Chances are that you haven’t, otherwise this mess of an OP wouldn’t have been made in the first place. I’ll gladly explain myself if you ask too.
