Enough about Throwing the Objective.

We got a more important issue here.

What is this?

That’s not an explosion. When a bomb goes off, there’s a big explosion. That’s not an explosion.

I want a big explosion when I set off a bomb.

I think it’s an actual grifball now… Hopefully assault will feature a much bigger boom…

Okay Michael Bay, we’ll get right on that…

That disappointed me as well. I want it to kill everyone in the vicinity

you forget the part that when its scored it doesn’t actually kill griff like its meant to.

is just me or is griffball turning into basket ball?

> Okay Michael Bay, we’ll get right on that…

The one time we actually need him for something.

Instead I bet he’s off right now to butcher Transformers 4.

Grifball is no longer an assault gametype now, so there is no longer a bomb, instead its’s the oddball.

The reason why is because assault has alot of coding that grifball doesn’t use so they stripped back the code and made it it’s own game type so the game would lag a hell of alot less.

Yeah, I think resetting the field is best. There aren’t rounds either so, I assume the scoring team would be dominating and getting the bomb often.

And in doing so I’m tempted to say that the new Grifball isn’t Grifball.

I think its cool and a new way to play grifball but I still hope there is a way to play it how it originally was.

I think it’s a nice inspiration from grifball. This should suffice right? I wont miss the explosion that much.

No, he’s busy trying to destroy the ninja turtles, sad day

Y U Brake Halozz

Grifball is still grifball, even without the explosion. Why? The rules are still the same.

  1. Kill Grif
  2. Slaughter Grif
  3. Destroy Grif
  4. HAVE FUN! (Except for Grif)

Also, for the person who made the basketball comment, I prefer to think it more like rugby then basketball.

It is its completely own gametype now. The lack of resetting rounds speeds up gameplay and doesn’t interrupt the flow. The team that just scored has no advantage at all considering all players are still on the field, all aware that the ball will reset in the center. Grifball is still Grifball.

> Grifball is still Grifball.

It’s very much not the same without the big explosion.

Just like how H4 is going to be a little bit worse for not letting us have our murder/betrayal spree when the game ends and fades to black.

> 4. HAVE FUN! (Except for Grif)

But Grif will have fun if he survives planting the ball!! The explosion must return!!

EDIT:

Dw it’s back!! (splatty splat)

More like Lacrosse or Rugby. Grifball ain’t no -Yoink- sport like Basketball. It certainly isn’t Basket Ball, that’s like Baseball and Jeopardy.

The bomb explosion not killing Grif doesn’t break the rules of the game because the intent is to kill Grif before he scores.
The lack of a round based setup is most likely the reason for no longer automatically killing Grif after each score.

Throw the ball!

More like basketball with hammers.
