Guys, let’s stop talking about the ranking system. There’s no reason to at this point. The Halo 4 ranking system is most likely already set in place, and it won’t be changing until Halo 5. All we can do is wait to see how it will work. Let’s stop filling up the boards with things that can’t be changed at this point, and start talking about things that have already been confirmed to be in the game.

I dont care for Halo 4 anymore after the leak of Bungies projects to be coming out starting next year. I think Marathon is going to be the next big game to play with skill involved and is going to eclipse Halo and COD. And hopefully Bungie adds in 1-50 lol jk but something similar.

I’m sorry, what was the point in you posting this? This doesn’t pertain to the post whatsoever. If you don’t care about halo 4 anymore, then why are you still in the Halo 4 forums?
Because i still love Halo and everything about it. I can still post even if Im not to excited for Halo4. I also believe that Halo is going to far in the wrong direction and Bungie will take back their place on the mantle of games.

Plz…Bungie caught lightning in a bottle with Halo. All their other games will be “Halo-ish” and fail in the process of trying to recapture lighting.

Well if your not excited about it, why are you still on the Halo 4 forums? I don’t mean to be rude, but I can’t help it when you are being more than rude, saying the Bungie is superior to 343 on 343’s website.
That’s like saying stop talking about some other aspect of H4 because it’s already set in place. The ranking system is one piece of H4 and people are curious about it just like anything else that’s going to be in the game. Once the system is released, you can expect a tidal wave of threads about it so you should prepare yourself.

He never said Bungie was superior. He simply stated that the things 343 is putting into Halo are ruining the game. Nothing more. Dont put words into his text for him, even if both things are correct.

And you better believe they are going to do it again. They are in the middle of developing two games right now. They have even said that Halo 3,ODST and Reach were places they could test ideas on games and how they would work and not to mention all of the info they have on 10 years of games. Im going to say it right here and now “Marathon” is the death of Halo and it only seems right that the creators of Halo are the ones who will be the end of halo

No. You should stop talking about it because even though you think it might change the views of 343i, it won’t. They have already designated their ranking system and they’re not listening to you or anyone else who suggests one. Why waste your time?

Your right i dont know that for a fact. But I can look at the facts that we have and connect the dots. Im excited for the campian and S0 but the MP Ive already made up my mind and am looking for a replacement for Halo MM

This is the problem - 343 is too stubborn to listen to the community, and when they do, they listen to the side that enjoy forging sand castles and playing with rainbows. People are instantly banned on this forum for commenting with thoughtful responses about why a certain aspect in the game should be left out.

This is absolutely right, and has been explained many times. We already saw the devastation caused by things like Jet Packs in Reach, so therefore we can logically assume the same will occur in Halo 4. I watch a movie trailer, judge it to be awful, and dont go to see the movie. There is a lenghty thread on here that disproves every single aspect of the “You haven’t played it yet” argument…you should read it.
