So the other day I went back to Halo 5 MP after playing the Halo Infinite MP Flight. Playing Infinite MP at between 60-120fps made H5’s 30fps painfully obvious. I know that 343 is plenty busy with Infinite right now. I would hope after they’ve launched Infinite that they would go back and finally deploy a enhancement patch for H5. Since to my knowledge they never even deployed one to take advantage of the One X’s features.
H5 is locked to 60fps on all consoles and received X enhancements back in 2017. You can read more about it here.
Halo 5 runs at a locked 60 FPS & did receive Xbox One X upgrades late into the games life cycle when that console came out.
The only thing Halo 5 won’t be getting at the moment is FPS Boost or a Series X/S enhancement.

That’s sad. I bought a Series X yesterday, I would play Halo 5 and I was hype if I’ll see any enhancement it.

Do you know if MCC have a Series X/S enhancement?

MCC has a Series X/S enhancement update yes, runs at 4K120.

Halo 5 isn’t supported anymore, just playlist rotations. The team isn’t there to make the Series X/S patch possible at the moment.
Maybe one day in the future but I highly doubt it.

I understand, the only comforting thing is that I will be able to enjoy the MCC’s enhancements in Series X.

I don’t think 343 will optimize halo 5 because the community on this game is much too weak.
