Engineers in Halo 4?

Does anybody think that Engineers will return in Halo 4?

It was said in Glasslands that, after the Covenant dispersed, the Huragok fled, leaving the species behind. Where they fled to is a mystery. I remember that the Brutes in the book had one, but it was captured by the UNSC.

So, the UNSC is in possession of at least one Engineer. Maybe we’ll see some on the Infinity. They would be valuable assets, as they could reverse engineer Forerunner technology for UNSC use.

Engineers were also discovered by Lucy-B091 on the shield world Trevelyan. Could it be possible that we could see some on Requeim?

I think it would be interesting for the Chief to finally encounter an Engineer in the game. Even better would be one not held by the Covenant.

This sounds interesting. Personally I see no way in which the Covenant will be using the Engineers after Halo3 however ‘free’ Engineers would be an interesting route to explore both for the plot and possibly the gameplay. I wonder who they would side with?

In the book the UNSC found a group of engineers in the dyson sphere.

Let’s hope they side with the UNSC.

We’re going to need those guys to help us stand a chance against the Ancient Evil.

It is very possible from a canon standpoint . . Sadly though I don’t think that 343 would put them in Halo 4 =(

Engineers aren’t really known to people who didn’t play Halo Wars, ODST, or read the books.

ps I could very much see Master Chief come across a engineer, and then have it as a AA, but it all comes down to if 343 would want them in Halo 4.
