Energy swords

I used to love the way the energy sword worked in halo 2 but it did have some downfalls but the they were kinda fixed in halo 3 but then in halo reach bungie just made it worse, i mean when your playing infection or anything like that the zombie kills you but it says you got a bulltrue…isnt a bulltrue supposed to be where you kill him while he is lunging at you and if then also when you kill him it lags and he lives for a milisecond and kills you, it lags and says that the person that killed you betrayed you, i mean i wish 343 at least goes back to the halo 3 sword and fixes it

idc does not affect me that much. Oh and news flash that rarely happens

Halo 2’s sword was epic, but they made it slow and clunky in H3, I didn’t have as much respect for the H3 sword as I did for the H2 one.

The Halo 2 Energy Sword was the best weapon in the series by far.

I want to see the energy sword look more like reaches model but act like halo 3’s one.

I hated reachs sword because you couldnt have sword duels anymore you would just die on the second hit. Loved halo 2s but not in multiplayer and halo 3s was almost perfect but make half a second faster.

H2 sword was just too much of a beast, but I agree the H3 one was underwhelming. At present I’ll take a shotgun over a sword.

You have never played infection on Reach. If you have, then you’d know it happens most the time.

You could pull the sword out kill someone and put it back faster then the animation. It was fun but over powered.

Oh how I miss the Halo 2 energy swords…

Halo Reach’s design + Halo 2’s Lunge + Halo 3’s parry.

BEST SWORD EVER.

Forerunner Energy Gun?

Functions as sword, gun and can be combined for more power.

Kind of like Unreal Tournements Link gun

I get the bulltrue glitch all the time in infection, they need to fix it, it takes a lot of fun out of living dead

Actually sword duels happened all the time in Halo: Reach, the problem is they are so commonly interuppted.

Miss the H2 sword.

I’d like the H2 sword back, but it obviously needed to be countered. 2 possible suggestions could be either heavily increase the rate at which the sword’s charge is depleted, or (not sure how this will impact gameplay, but probably negatively) increase the number of shotties on the map.

The H2 sword was only OP when the shotgun was on respawn in my experience. H3’s sword was underwhelming, and in Reach, I found myself never going to it. Not quite sure why, but I think my gameplay tended to be much more ranged than I was previously used to.

Happens all the time for me. I hope it goes back to the Halo 3 sword as well.

Bulltrue glitch isnt a glitch. Its physics. It cannot be fixed.

Halo 2 sword was insane. I can pull it stab someone and put it away before the blade even appears.
