Out of every beautiful polished looking weapon
the energy sword is the only one that just looks really bad, now i love the game, i love the early release, i love everything about what 343 is doing but let’s just compare the Halo infinite energy sword to the H2A sword, real fast, can we get a better looking energy sword? ik it’s probably going to fall into deaf ears but, i’d really like to have that classic look, the energy sword just looks like a Low res JPEG was thrown onto a handle, even the handle looks really good, but the sword, not so much Processing: BE8070E4-1D16-417C-8C9D-0A8B6CE03508.jpeg…

Yeah, the energy sword definitely needs a graphical fix. It’s no where near as beautiful as Halo 4 or H2A’s. I never played Halo 5, so I can’t say. But Halo 4’s and H2A’s was great.

I totally agree I feel like the equip animation doesn’t have the same punch that the Halo 2 or 3 sword used to have. The sound also feels really lackluster. I loved the old feeling of it bursting out after a little delay. It felt like the energy was waiting to be released as it couldn’t be contained. Not to mention the old sound just made it feel raw and badass. Here’s hoping they polish it up a bit.

Second this! I would also like it, if these swords were meant to come from the banished. That they have some kind of chaotic effect when activating. To show how cruel the banished are, from their more technological perspective compared to the elegence of the Covenant/Sangheili design.
