A Needler type energy sword that is pink and combusts when an enemy is killed, giving it the ability to kill two people in one swing with the same explosion radius as a whiplash when it’s able to kill two people.
I’d really rather it not be a thing.
How about a shotgun that fires needles?
Kinda pointless really. The nature of the weapon would render it a single-use weapon after the explosion. Besides, blamite isn’t really the most stable (let alone durable) material to forge a blade out of it.

Oooo. I like where this is going.
I can actually picture this. Can I describe it? Probably not very well.
Why wouldn’t it kill the person using it?

Messy, indeed.
I don’t like the needler idea, although I like the pink colour idea. I hope in the future we get different coloured energy swords, I would love a red one.

That’s what I was thinking
People already complain about the energy sword as it is…
Maybe just for Warzone…
Also, this explosion should hurt the carrier as well if that carrier is within radius, otherwise it would be too OP.
If it had the explosion radius of the whiplash, it would kill the user. You ever fire a whiplash at someone from point blank range?

Just get on to Halo 5, spawn a needler weapon pad (req version of course), and switch it to the Scattershot. Voila!

Even the normal Railgun can mess you up.
I have an idea. Make it shoot plasma if you miss a swing. Kinda like how Tartarus’ Gavel works.

I have an old thread about this.
Deadly even a little out of range, just a few shots to get enough needles… boom!
