In the description, it says that the evil wants vengeance. Is this pointing towards the Forerunners?
Precursors they are the most ancieny race we know of. Unless its a new species.

This. And despite contrary belief, Forerunners are not an “ancient evil.” They may not have done the best things, but there is no hard evidence they are “evil.”

i thhink they are gonna show an epic campain triler and at the end they will show a quick glimpse of a forerunner to trick is… what i mean is they will show the forerunner to make us think we will be fighting them but in reality we are not…
Forerunners are on our side, despite the events of previous halos.
The enemy is definitely the renegade paragraphs floating in space. They have travelled from a galaxy very far away and its taken them along time to get to the milky way. 
But seriously I’m very interested about how exactly are 343 going to introduce them in the game. Are they going to make MC stumble across a squad of scouts and fight them straight up without knowing who they are exactly? Or are they going to be revealed through a cutscene?
I wish they had left the game simply at “Halo 4” and in gameplay videos do nothing but show the Covenant (even though I don’t think they should be there). Maybe we can get the same plot twist of the Flood that we got in Halo 1 instead of being shown months before the game of what we’re up against.

Yep, to my knowledge it has never been confirmed.

Er, doesn’t mean they’ll show the true ancient enemy.
There will probably be new types of sentinels in the game, for example, and they still count as new enemies even if they’re not the “ancient enemy class” that they tease.
So yeah, not totally confirmed.
