Enemy frame rate and animations look broken

Enemies that are not immediately in front of you have incredibly choppy animations. I’ve never seen a game that looks like this, much less a AAA title. It’s completely distracting and seems like the graphics in this case are worse than in previous games (i.e. Master Chief Collection).

I installed the game on a WD My Passport X 2TB external hard drive. Could this be the issue?

Or is this really the compromise for a locked 60 FPS? Very disappointing.

I heard on a video that, beyond a certain point npcs have there animation slowed down to 30fps.

I need to agree… its very disappointing things like this coming in a AAA title… bungie will never let this happens, sry to say that, but its true;

It’s really bad. I’m just starting play Arena and I can see it in all other player animations too. It seems like a major step back from even MCC, which seems to be perfectly smooth all the time. Wasn’t really expecting this from Halo 5.

this is a choice mad by 343 to keep the framerate at 60fps. you probably won’t see that fixed.

I’ve noticed this just from videos I’ve seen on youtube. It’s worth noting that the Beta was not like that at all.

This, it’s likely intentional so the framerate is locked.
