Enemies?

Currently we have A LOT of protagonists in the Halo Universe.

There is the Covenant Remnant.
Prometheans
The Brutes (who seem on the verge of revolting against their post-war situation.) There are several Insurrectionist factions
The Flood.

Do you think we’ll be seeing them all in Halo 5? It’s said to be open world and quite massive, so I could imagine encountering each of them in different situation. Now, I doubt we’ll be fighting humans, because that would seem weird in a Halo game, so if we come across any Innies, there will probably be a common interest or enemy like in Reach.

Although it would be amazing to have Watchers, Crawlers, Knights, Sentinels, Elites, Brutes, Grunts, Jackals, Buggars, Hunters, Engineers, Flood Spores, Combat Forms, Carrier Forms, those shape-shifting ones from Halo 3, and any new ones … that’s a lot of work (for the developers, and for us to shoot.)

Do you guys think we’ll be seeing all of these factions in Halo 5? Which do you think will be predominate?
Who wouldn’t want to see some Knights battling some Flood like they were made to do?

I think the word you are looking for is antagonists. Either way, yeah, we’ve got a lot of enemies to work with and I’d like to see most of them in the game, but the story will impact what we see.

i actually would like to see the human rebels or insurrectionist as
antagonists in some kind of way. not only because they were the
top priority reason why spartans actually exist, but it would be
definitely interesting & something different. though i wouldn’t like
to see them as the main-antagonists. the reason should be obvious.
but something else beside elites, jackals, grunts etc and those
awful prometheans would bring some refreshing variety.
just in case the flood doesn’t return…most likely they will,
but the human insurrectionits are also are a threat that shouldn’t
be underestimated.
