Pre and post patch I’ve had problems in halo 2 anniversary multiplayer with an endless black screen, I get into a game, play for 5-10 seconds and suddenly I get a black screen saying host migration. Then after 30 seconds has passed I get to play for another 5-10 seconds and it black screens again, over and over. Anyone else having problems with this or know of a solution?
Edit: Doesn’t happen in any game other than the anniversary multiplayer.
Same here, also halo 3 does it for me. I’m really getting sick of this -Yoink-!!!
Black Screen loop happens to me as well in campain mode, right away from the resume game option total black screen unable to play halo two now. It will let me play any of the Missions witch is fine but its not campaign. What gives with all these bugs had all the other bug problems as well i will not give 343 any more of my money thats for sure i refuse to pay halo 5 because of this though as if they care at all they got what they want i guess…

just hit the switch button between classic and anniversary
I coulndt resume campaign either because of black screen i was playing on legendary almost had my mission done because of that black screen i needed to play the mission again from the start and again when i resume black screen… i was very pissed i had no clue what to do so out of curiosity i hit the switch button and bam! Gone is black screen! I could move on where i was
i was very happy
hope someone with similair problem reads this and knows how simple it is to fix 
Has there been any official word on this? H2A Multiplayer is completely unplayable for me due to me getting black screen every 30 seconds. Every other game works fine.
I am also experiencing the continuous black screen issue, so far it’s happened in the H3 playlist and the H2A playlist. The gamelplay would first register okay for 10 secs. and then I would start lagging for 5 secs. and then black screen and repeat. I had 2 Halo 3 matches where it black screened throughout the entire match and then mid match for H2A.
343 what happened to the in-game connection bars?

Still happening. My connection works fine with many other games, but MC Collection is unplayable a large portion of the time due to this issue.
Same issues still, halo 3 mostly for me. The time clock stop and other payers start walking into walls as i can still move until i get scoreboard then opens up like a beginning of a match. My friend also had the same problem but he can play fine now, 50 down and 5 up.(we have the same internet providers and plan) Really is saddening because i never really got to play halo 3 competitively and it was also a main reason for even getting an xbox one. Hopefully you guys can get it fixed as soon as possible everyone would appreciate it.
I have this issue too. 343 has yet to even acknowledge this yet.
In Halo 3 I don’t black screen, but I will get bad spurts of lag (which usually gets me killed) and I end up lagging so often that it’s not even playable.
Just now in H2 (classic) snipers the game was completely fine for two or three minutes, then a sudden blackscreen for 20-30 seconds. this happened twice and the third time it happened (2 kills before the match ended) it just lagged me out. (Showed everyone else quit, game over).
Never ever had this issue since I’ve owned the game. Happened yesterday and still no idea why.
