I had 3 minutes left on a double xp timer with the challenges 1/2 FFA matches played and 6/10 spartan melees. So I jumped into a free for all game and got at the very least 4 melee kills.
Well actually i didnt get any progression. I was still at 1/2 FFA matches and 6/10 spartan melees. My guess is that the progression failed because the timer hit 0 in the middle of the match. Anyway, that would have been the match the finished off the battle pass for me, but oh well. Its not like theres any other form of progressing in this game anyway.
If i had it my way, the timer would have been gone long ago. I would still love to see that happen, along with the addition of triple XP boosts to supplement the XP you might lose by replacing the timer with a fixed XP system. I’ll just keep shouting into the void until that happens i guess.
