Hello everyone. So i was watching some spartan ops gameplay and saw someone using the EMP grenade.

Plasma grenade?

I think that’s just a plasma grenade.

Its defiantly a Promethean grenade. Look how it makes a yellow/reddish EMP ball. Plasmas dont do that.

Doubt it’s an EMP. It will most likely act as an AoE of damage, reverse version of a bubble shield/Drop shield.

Well i remember reading somewhere that Frank confirmed the emp grenade as one of the 2 new grenades, and that pretty much looks like it.

Yeah, there’s a couple screenshots in that thread of the grenade being thrown and it’s definitely a promethean EMP grenade. I remember hearing the same thing about an EMP grenade and this is obviously it.

Another thing I noticed is that you must be able to pick them up from the little promethean dogs, cause he throws a frag at 10:35 and they’re the only enemy he sees until he throws the promethean nades.

Edit: Oh wait I forgot you can have multiple types. He might have just had em all along. It’s hard to tell since they don’t have an icon on the HUD.

I went back and watched the vid, and from what i saw there, he never had them, so i think you may be able to pick them up from crawlers. Also did you notice that in the vid the knights were using fully automatic guns (kindof like the how the crawlers shoot)? maybe they were using another new gun? and also there was another part where there were like orange sniper shots flying around. wasnt sure if it was supposed to be from a promethean sniper gun or the light rifle
