So as you all know, Emiles knife cannot be on the right shoulder like how it’s supposed to be because all spartan 4’s are right handed and Emile was left handed.
With the new release of the community update by Bravo, i’ve come to notice this. Please click here.
As you can see, Jun’s (Vigilant) knife is on his right shoulder; implying he is left handed while Emile’s was put on his left shoulder because “Spartan IV’s cannot be left handed”.
Anyone know why this was done like this? Either someone at 343 is getting fired because a huge mistake was just made, or they are intentionally trolling us because we all wanted Emile’s knife on the proper shoulder.

The knife was probably moved in Wrath’s case due to hitboxes. You know, that system that determines the area where your Spartan is registered as being hit?
The knife in addition to the overly-large shoulder probably made it problematic, hence, it’s new position.
Of course, I have no proof of this being the case. But it’s the most plausible explanation. It’s different in Vigilant’s case due to Jun not carrying such a huge shoulderpad around.
The whole look of the Wrath armor set sucks, IMO. It looks half-finished, with the knife in the wrong place and the grenade bandoliers missing from the chest and belt.
Jun’s armor looks good, but I wish we could change the color of the bodysuit to black; actually, I wish we could do that with all armor sets. I’m tired of running around in colored undies, and it looks especially bad on classic armor sets, including the Reach armors and the Mark IV armor.

I suppose. But then again, the FOTUS helmet has an obnoxiously large horn sticking out of the top and that doesn’t affect the hitbox.
You know, it really doesn’t matter. At least we got damn close lookalike armour, closer (in some cases) than what we could try and replicate in Reach. Besides, it’s not like you’re going to be able to unlock the armour with the req system anytime soon. The only gripe I have is Kat’s armour looks a little too bulky.
Carter’s armour doesn’t have one commando shoulder!
Kat’s armour doesn’t have a robot arm!
Jorge’s armour doesn’t make you significantly bigger!
Jun’s armour doesn’t make me drop out when all my teammates are dying!

It’s Kat’s armor, not Kat. Kat didn’t have armor over her robotic arm because there was nothing needing to protect there. Kat didn’t always have the robotic arm. Maybe this it what her armor looked prior.

Where is this whole thing about Spartan IV’s not being left handed coming from? And Emile being left handed? Did I miss something?
If Spartan IV’s were recruited from ODSTs and such, I’m sure some of them must’ve been left handed.
And how do people know Emile is left handed? Because of the position of his knife? Maybe he’s ambidextrous? I don’t remember any of this coming up in Reach or reading about it in any of his bios, unless I missed it.

Someone was complaining about it not too long ago, though.

The vigilant armour was made orginally for Jun who is left handed but a limited amount of sets are being made for other spartans.
And srsly you want someone fired over emiles knife? Ok lets make someone a living over a knife ok thats fair!
