EMile dependability [spoilers]

For real? Who brings a shotgun into a large open field!? (Winter Contingency) Shotgun = CQC. Emile brings it to desert (Pillar of Autumn). Bro, your cool to me, your my favorite character, you don’t need a shotgun to exacerbate that… If you we’rent scripted to die at the end, you would of been dead long before that time…

The allied AI in Reach are brain-dead. They’re meant to be, in order to make it ‘less easy’ for the player. The campaign on Legendary is easy anyway. Most of the time Noble Team end up killing me or driving me into a lake instead of helping me. You all know who I’m talking about.

Halo allied Ai’s are notorious for that kind of thing from my memory. Playing Halo 2, Driving the warthog around with a gunner and a marine passenger with a rocket launcher. Suddenly, boom nearly dead and the crew is gone because the Ai went and vaporized them with a rocket to the hood.

Emile taking that shotgun would have made more sense if they had given him a slug thrower variant, rather than a buckshot. That’s just my opinion on the matter, otherwise they could have atleast had him switch between something with range capacity and then to the shotgun for cqb.

It’s even worse when you look at early screenshots and see Emile with an AR. Sure it’s an AR, but at least it would of done a bit of damage.

eyes own avatar I know what you mean, he’s scripted to carry the shot gun. However, I was thinking in a “What if Emile was an actual person.” kind of though process.

I mean, it just doesn’t make the UNSC o ONI look very smart sending a SPARTAN in with a Shotty when the Covenant will be firing Needle Rifles at dead-eye marksmen levels.

Personally I would bring a shotgun where ever I went if I was invincible.

That’s another thing! If your invisible, why in the hell do you need AL? (Obviously to give the characters a sense of vulnerability while your playing) But dude. Even more so, Kat get scalped and she has her Hammer suit on, what the hell. I understand she needed to die quickly in respects to the forward moving story, but if you want to one shot, one kill her in the dome, don’t make her put on her helmet before doing so…

Based off the concept art, I thought he’d be carrying a grenade launcher. It’s would have made sense considering he was wearing the assault/sapper chest in-game that was loaded with grenades…

> Personally I would bring a shotgun where ever I went if I was invincible.

true, but you wouldn’t attempt to snipe with, would you?
emile does that. all the time.

It’s no surprise he doesn’t knick Kat, Jorge are Carter, eh?

but he does use a grenade launcher and a rocket launcher.

I’d give emile a sword if I could, but then he’d try and snipe with it, failing misaberably. Before I used to take a laser or rocket launcher to the part of PoA where you clear the pad, those marines can do alot if you give them a rocket launcher.

Emile was by far the least likable, intelligent, and useful character.

His death was completely avoidable if he hadn’t been so brain dead.

I hate almost everything about him. He seemed to cliche and extremely out of place in a Halo game.

> His death was completely avoidable if he hadn’t been so brain dead.

> “I’m ready!! How 'bout you?!”

I can honestly say that he wasn’t trying to avoid it.
