in halo 3 the emblem was there. it showed who we were
halo reach it was there but it was small and would be covered with any chest piece making it so you couldn’t see it.
And after looking at the spartan IV pictures I don’t see a emblem at all
Have they been removed from game?
are they no longer used on Spartans?
will this mean the death of clan pride?
All this… not next on waypoint news

Actually, with the chest piece that I’m currently using, you can see the emblem.
Also, there should be two emblems.
1: Personal Emblem
2: Official Clan Emblem
Your personal emblem would appear on your chest no matter which armor piece you use.
Your clan emblem would be on your shoulders.
Early stage of development, the last thing I’d expect to see is an emblem of a Spartan. apparently they have an abundance of customization, from controls to Spartan. I doubt they’d ever scratch emblems, it’s just plain stupid if they did. I could see the emblem being placed on the flat surface of the chest, on that first pic (blue spartan).
Clans have been pointless since Halo 2, so why would we have a clan emblem?
I’m sure I saw one, maybe on the SpIV’s back.

I think there should be a more sophisticated Emblem ‘maker’ in Halo 4. You should also be able to place it on one of your shoulders or legs and body (And possibly even the back or wherever).
In those pictures in the OP, the emblem could possibly blend in with the spartan, like they might have made it all blue so as not to reveal the emblems and all the new features they have in store for us…? That’s my take on it.

I would always choose not to have an emblem when it showed on the shoulder. Looked terrible, obstructed my shoulder. Made more sense to be on chest.
I want the ability to move my emblem to anywhere I want in the suit also adjust size but of course having limits,also movie my amblem to my visor would be AWWWWWWWSOME

Yeah! I wouldn’t say they are pointless. There are plenty of people that still run clans that have meaning.
I just hope they bring the snake emblem back…
I wouldn’t worry too much about this if I were you. Like they said, H4 is very
customizable. I would be very surprised if emblems weren’t in this game.
I was a little dissappointed with the lack of size of the emblem in Reach. I hope they put it on the chest or shoulder and make it visible. Unlike Reach which was on the back, and very small.

Yesssss! I was hunting down the snake emblem in Reach, but it didn’t show its face. I don’t even think it was in Odst, can’t remember.

How about personal emblem on the back? Or at least larger on the chest…
Personally, i think the larger of the two has to be the personal. Like the OP said it shows who we are. I mean, you could see it in halo 3 on occasion, but 95% of the time in reach, you will never see it.
