There are pros to both showing and not showing the method by which a player unlocks an emblem and I would like to know what the community thinks of the two
Not showing the unlock: Not knowing what emblem you’re going to get adds an element of surprise and spontaneity to opening a REQ pack after completing a commendation
and
Showing the unlock: Everyone knows, or can find out easily, how you obtained the emblem that you’re rocking. This also allows you to set your sights on an emblem you like and aim specifically for the commendation that provides that emblem.
Personally I prefer the latter. I worked my -Yoink- off to get the weapon mastery pack and frankly the emblem is quite underwhelming. Nonetheless I still use it because of what it means. But unfortunately, only other people who have completed the same commendation know how I got it. I would love for everyone to be able to see what the emblem means so when they see it they know, hey that kid has mastered every weapon. Do you guys agree or am I just being conceded?
