I really loved the customisation of emblems in Halo 3, Reach and Halo 4. You could chose from a variety of backgrounds and foregrounds and choose up to 3 different colours to use. But now there is just loads of preset emblems. I don’t even understand the colouring system. I really wish I could create my own emblem, like in other games. I really don’t understand why they have changed it. I know it’s only a small part of the game, but I’m really disappointed at how limited the emblem customisation is, and I hope it improves.
I was thinking the same thing. Why did they change the embelems, there is just no reason behind it.

For the same reason they made getting armor permutations a lottery. More people paying to roll the dice for what they want.

I agree, the Emblem customization is for the non creative in Halo 5…
Halo 5 has unique emblems, like the Halo Channel emblem, but it would be even better if it had emblem customization like Halo: Reach’s which was special.
They could keep the same system they have just unlock peices to make more emblems with! I miss it too.
