I want to know where this news embargo came from?
Possibly they want any big reveals to be released at the same time? and probably better written than a quick “OMG such and such demo etc is awesum”.
Other than that i honestly dont know why they have slapped a media embargo on it.
I’d like to see proof there is an embargo… I’ve seen websites talk about it as a rumor, but no one has confirmed there actually IS an embargo.
Well considering there was a French poster saying February 29th -March 5 embargo. With a picture of Master Chief on it. One can assume.
Also David Ellis stated on Twitter he will be at GDC, the thing that begins right after the embargo.

Hahaha a French poster is your “proof”? No, and I don’t assume, as that’s ridiculous to do.
As for GDC so has Scott Warner, I believe most of 343 will be there, does that mean there’s an embargo? Still no.
which Halo game didn’t have an embargo? this is pretty standard practice for a lot of game developers.

Honestly this whole embargo thing is understandable. I might not like it, but I understand it. That said the employees who constantly spout off how awesome the game is is unforgivable when they know they can’t give information.

They can but of what they can say holds no importance or interest to us. Meaning it is useless information to us as of now until they actually release the good stuff.
